Removable Specific PLXR Pannier Rack for GIVI MonokeySide V35 Panniers

The type-specific pannier rack made of tubular steel – called PLXR for short – has been specifically developed for GIVI V35 Monokey panniers. Thanks to the bike-specific development, the PLXR pannier rack a relatively small overall width combined with an optimal fit. The panniers blend in perfectly with the motorcycle design. The panniers are locked to the rack by a simple mechanism ensuring a safe fixation.

The new mounting system "PLXRapid" allows a simple and fast installation and removal of the rack. The racks which come with this new system, are called PLXR for short and feature quick-lock screws which are fixed on the unobtrusive main holders. To remove the rack, you only have to loosen the specific screws using the customized GIVI key (contained in the scope of supply). Thus, you can restore the original optical state in seconds.

For added security, all PLXR pannier racks are equipped with an anti-theft device for a padlock on the left and right side.

The so-called Monokey Side System was launched onto the marked in 2006. Developed by GIVI, this system constitutes an interesting further development of the classic "rack + pannier" system. This combination has introduced new technical elements as well as a new design. Monokey side panniers – such as V35 panniers – can be recognised by the new shape of the case bottom which is identical to the inclination angle of the rack. The panniers have two attachment points. By pressing the push button on these adjustment points, the pannier can be removed from the rack. Moreover, the position of the adjustment points increases the overall stability.

The construction of this system enhances the adhesion of the pannier to the motorcycle side thus improving the aerodynamics. You can open and remove the V35 from the Monokey side pannier rack using one key. This ease of use is supplemented by the tried-and-tested push-button system.

This rack comes with the necessary mounting parts. You do not even need any further adapters to mount V35 panniers.
